Online spiritual retreat to explore our experience of the Light.
Encountering God is a key experience of our Quaker faith. What can Early Friends teach us about finding Truth? Where does encounter happen? How do we open ourselves to the gift of direct relationship? Explore these themes through online worship and workshops, offline spiritual practices, and various opportunities to learn from each other. https://www.fgcquaker.org/event/encountering-spirit-retreat-save-the-date/?sd=1708059600
The Gathering is a week of Quaker worship, workshops, and community for all ages. Friends come together from across the US and Canada to deepen our connection to one another and the Spirit. The Gathering is typically held on a college campus. Beginning in 2024, in-person Gatherings will alternate years with online Gatherings and in-person Young Adult & Youth (YAY) gatherings.
Public witness of an inward faith of both individual and community

Saratoga Friends Meeting affirms our belief in the presence of the Spirit in each person, and we welcome everyone. We are dismayed at the current wave of legislation that seeks to deprive transgender and non-binary people of basic human rights and health care. We encourage legislation protecting the rights, safety, and human dignity of these people, as indeed of all people.
